Driven by this institutional approach, the Academic Council (Council of Deans) at the university held its 26th regular meeting today, Saturday, June 06, 2026, for the academic year 2025–2026. Chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Abdullatif Haidar, the session was dedicated to debating a range of academic, student-centric, and administrative matters, as well as reviewing the latest updates regarding scientific research and the university's academic journals—underscoring the university’s ongoing commitment to institutional development and academic excellence.
The meeting got an active engagement from the university’s top leadership, including Board of Trustees Member Prof. Dr. Mansour Al-Abdi, alongside the Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dean of Student Affairs, Faculties' deans, academic department heads, Head of the Scientific Research Unit, and the University Secretary-General. This high-level attendance underscores the harmony of administrative roles and unified efforts toward fulfilling the university's strategic objectives.
At the dynamic start of the meeting, the University President welcomed the attendees and extended his warmest congratulations on the upcoming Eid Al-Adha, wishing everyone blessings and prosperity. He affirmed that Ar-Rasheed Smart University is advancing with confident strides toward reinforcing the quality of education and scientific research, continuously upgrading the academic environment to meet student aspirations and keep pace with the accelerating shifts in the higher education sector.
The Council thoroughly discussed the topics on its agenda, taking appropriate decisions and recommendations designed to optimize institutional performance and elevate the outcomes of both the educational and research processes.
Concluding the session, Council members renewed their commitment to working with a unified team spirit, affirming that the university is moving steadily toward cementing its position as a pioneering academic institution and an inspiring knowledge platform—where ambitions are transformed into achievements, and ideas into high-impact projects that build a brighter tomorrow.
