Ar-Rasheed Smart University conducts the Business Knowledge Race at the faculty of Finance and Business, aiming to cultivate innovation, reinforce a spirit of challenge, and empower the next generation of leaders.

Within this spirit, the halls of the Faculty of Finance and Business witnessed an inspiring tableau of competition and challenge, as the Faculty—collaborating with the University Student Forum—hosted the “Business Knowledge Race” for third-year Business Administration students. The event served as an open arena for idea generation, skill refinement, and confidence building, blending enthusiasm with teamwork and merging individual ambition with collective effort in an atmosphere charged with passion and a drive for excellence.

The event was graced by distinguished attendees, including Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Wazir, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. Saif Salam Al-Hakeemi, Dean of Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Abdulkhaleq Tawaf, Dean of faculty of Finance and Business; Dr. Jamal Al-Duais, Head of the Business Administration Department; faculty members; race coordinator Ms. Ghidaa Hameed; and a large gathering of students. Ms. Sally Taher welcomed the audience, emphasizing that the race aimed to bridge theory with practice, and to nurture critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

The race revolved around three core domains: Financial Management (FM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and International Human Resource Management (IHRM). The rounds varied between ⚡Quick Fire (rapid questions), 🤝Team Challenge (group tasks), 🎁Bonus Round (surprise challenges).

In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Abdulkhaleq Tawaf highlighted that the race was not merely an academic activity, but a stimulating educational experience designed to make a difference. “Our goal is to prepare students who can confront challenges armed with knowledge and skill, and to instill in them a culture of teamwork and fair competition. We believe the most valuable and enduring investment is in young minds capable of transforming ideas into successful projects that contribute to building the future,” he stated.

He also praised the efforts of the judging panel and coordination team, whose dedication brought the event to life in a distinguished manner, affirming that the success of such pioneering initiatives stems from collective effort and an institutional commitment to making Ar-Rasheed Smart University a hub for innovation and leadership.

Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Wazir, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, expressed his pride, saying: “Ar-Rasheed Smart University does not settle for being a source of theoretical knowledge—it strives to be a factory for future leaders capable of competing and creating impact. This event is a living reflection of our belief in the youth’s ability to innovate and turn economic and administrative challenges into opportunities and creative solutions worthy of their aspirations.”

The event concluded with an awards ceremony honoring the competing teams🏅, led by the Dean of Student Affairs, followed by recognition of the judging panel—comprising Dr. Taha Ahmed Al-Muhabshi, Dr. Arafat Mansour, Dr. Salah Sanad, and Ms. Sally Taher—for their pivotal role in the success of this exceptional experience.
