As part of Ar-Rasheed Smart University's commitment to providing a modern educational and teaching environment that keeps pace with the latest developments in education and enhances academic excellence, the university signed a strategic cooperation and partnership agreement with SecureWay – سكيوروي لحلول تقنية المعلوماتon Thursday, January 23, 2025, in the fields of training and professional development in cybersecurity.

This partnership aims to enhance the quality of academic and training programs by offering specialized consultations in training on modern technical systems and providing practical consultations in security systems. The partnership also includes developing joint training programs that meet market needs and enhancing mutual benefits from teaching activities. Additionally, it will contribute to providing technical support and consultations for graduation projects in cybersecurity and information technology

In a strategic move aimed at elevating academic and training quality, the rector of the university, Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, representing the university, signed a partnership agreement with the general manager of SecureWay IT Solutions, Mr. Nasr Zawiya. This partnership aims to enhance cooperation in training on modern technical systems and cybersecurity, and to develop innovative training programs that meet market needs. This agreement represents the beginning of a fruitful partnership aimed at achieving academic and technical excellence, and providing an educational environment that supports innovation and development in information technology and cybersecurity.

During the signing ceremony, the rector of the university emphasized the importance of signing such agreements that significantly contribute to equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their engineering and technical abilities. He pointed out that these partnerships encourage students to implement innovative projects that serve the community and open wide horizons in the job market and scientific research.

He added that the university always commits to collaborating with leading companies such as SecureWay IT Solutions to achieve the best interest of students and enhance their capabilities, making them at the forefront of technical and scientific developments.

On the sidelines of the partnership signing, a meeting was held attended by the Dean of faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Dr. Abdulmalik Mu'men, Head of the Cybersecurity Department, Prof. Dr. Anwar Al-Dhari, and the Sales Manager of SecureWay, Mr. Nasr Saleh Ahmed. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the university and the company in training on modern technical systems and cybersecurity, as well as exploring the development of joint academic and training programs that meet market needs and keep pace with the latest developments in these fields. Future cooperation prospects were also discussed in implementing innovative projects that contribute to developing students' engineering and technical skills.
