Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, the rector of the university, faculty of Engineering and Technology organized the third engineering exhibition today, Thursday, January 23, 2025. The exhibition showcased various projects and models from students of different educational programs, including Mechatronics Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Interior Design, and Graphics and Multimedia, at the university campus.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the opening event, attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Faisal Al-Zubairi, the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Wazir, Deans of faculties as well as heads of departments of Engineering and Technology, the Secretary-General of the university, Mr. Khaled Al-Khader, and several academic and administrative staff and students, distinguished student projects were displayed across various faculty specializations, including Mechatronics Engineering, Information Technology, Graphics and Multimedia, Cybersecurity, and Interior Design.

During the tour of the engineering exhibition sides, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the rector of the university, and all attendees listened to detailed explanations provided by the students about their innovative projects on display, which reflect a high level of creativity and excellence across different specializations.

Mr. Faisal Al-Zubairi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, praised the outstanding and diverse works presented by the students, affirming that these projects hold promising potential to become high-quality graduation projects. He emphasized the importance of developing them into future innovative initiatives capable of effectively contributing to community service and achieving sustainable development.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, the university president, expressed his great admiration for the innovative and high-quality scientific projects featured in the exhibition, commending the outstanding efforts reflecting the importance of scientific and academic achievement tied to advancements in various fields. He also extended his thanks and appreciation to the Dean of faculty of Engineering and Technology for this exceptional achievement, valuing the innovative projects presented by the students, which showcase a high level of creativity and academic excellence.

Prof. Dr. Abdulmalik Mumin, Dean of faculty of Engineering and Technology, stated that the exhibition aims to showcase the students' projects and works across all scientific specializations within the faculty, highlighting their scientific capabilities and skills. He expressed his joy and pride in the outstanding achievements presented by the students, praising their innovative projects that successfully link theoretical aspects with practical scientific applications

The Dean of faculty of Engineering and Technology extended his sincere thanks to the heads of the scientific departments, the university's general secretariat, and the student activity teams for their tremendous efforts in organizing the exhibition in a manner befitting Ar-Rasheed Smart University, reflecting the high level of academic and organizational excellence the university strives to achieve.

The exhibition was organized under the supervision of Dr. Anwar Al-Shamiri, Head of Information Technology Department, Dr. Anwar Al-Dhari, Head of Cybersecurity Department, Dr. Samira Al-Shawesh, Head of Interior Design Department, Dr. Adel Rawa', Head of Mechatronics Engineering Department, Dr. Muneer Al-Hemiary, Head of Graphics and Multimedia Department, along with the student activity team, the University Student Forum team, and all organizing students from various faculties of Engineering and Technology specializations.
