In a world where digital challenges are accelerating and the need for qualified personnel capable of protecting the future is growing, cybersecurity students at Ar-Rasheed Smart University continue to showcase their abilities in innovation and the development of practical solutions that enhance cybersecurity. In this context, students from the department presented a distinctive graduation project that embodies a passion for knowledge and practical research, translating the university's vision of preparing a digital generation equipped with the skills and expertise to face modern digital threats.

Ar-Rasheed Smart University, represented by faculty of Engineering and Technology – Cybersecurity Department, discussed an innovative graduation project titled: “A Virtual Environment for Cybersecurity Challenges and Skills Testing,” presented by students Abdullah Wael Al-Muqahafi, Turki Abdullah Thabet, Abdullah Farouk Thabet, and Abdullah Ahmed Mohammad, under the supervision of Professor Mohamed Al-Hamati and Engineer Shehab Al-Hiyy.

The project's objective is to develop an interactive training platform capable of simulating real scenarios of cyber attacks, providing a safe and specialized environment to assess trainees' skills in areas such as security analysis, ethical hacking, and incident response. This type of simulation helps refine students’ skills and enhances their practical readiness to tackle cybersecurity challenges.

Supervisor Professor Mohammed Al-Hamati emphasized that the project represents a significant enhancement in the training and qualification of technical personnel, noting that the proposed virtual environment combines both offensive and defensive aspects in a way that enhances the practical understanding of cybersecurity concepts.

The discussion panel, which included Dr. Anwar Al-Thari, Dr. Jameel Rashed, and Professor Mohammed Al-Hamati, commended the advanced technical level presented by the students, considering the project a promising research endeavor that integrates scientific precision with practical innovation. They believe it could serve as a foundation for future projects contributing to the development of smart security systems that benefit both the academic and technical sectors.
