In a new step reflecting the university's vision of empowering youth, the Dean of Student Affairs - Student Activities Division, in collaboration with the Talent Management Department at Hael Saeed Anam and Partners Group, organized a professional workshop titled "How to Write a Resume" on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
The workshop was broadcast online from the Arab Republic of Egypt to a number of targeted Yemeni universities.

The workshop was presented by Ms. Lamish Hamdi, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Mr. Abdullah No'man, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. It focused on equipping students with practical skills to craft a professional resume that effectively highlights their strengths and distinctions in a competitive job market.

In his remarks, Professor Abdul Lateef Haidar, the rector of the university, emphasized the importance of this type of training, expressing inspirationally: "This course represents a pivotal moment that charts the path for newly graduated students. A resume is not just a paper submitted; it is the first gateway to a world of opportunities and the building blocks of a professional future."

The rector added that he trusts such programs will make a real impact on students' career journeys, wishing all trainees success and the utmost benefit from the knowledge and skills offered by the workshop to enhance their readiness for the job market.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rubaie, Dean of Student Affairs, stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships between academia and the actual needs of the job market, stating: "The university seeks through these programs to prepare its students with the skills of the future and enable them to understand new technological trends, making them active partners in building a competitive digital economy based on creativity and knowledge."

The training included a detailed introduction to the concept of a resume, its components, and sections, along with practical applications and direct examples on how to craft each part in a professional manner that reflects the student's personality and competence.

Students expressed their happiness at participating in this workshop, affirming that it provided them with a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of resume preparation, opening new horizons for greater professional readiness and higher levels of professionalism.
