🏅 In a spirited athletic scene blending fair competition with a drive for excellence, student Mohammed Adel Mayas, representing Ar-Rasheed Smart University, etched his name in pride by securing third place and the bronze medal in the Fourth University Swimming Championship. The event, held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, took place at the Sam Recreational Club Pool in the capital city.
🚩 The championship was inaugurated by Dr. Hatim Al-Da’is, Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, and featured 150 swimmers representing 20 universities and 10 community colleges from across Yemen. The competition was fierce in the 50-meter freestyle race, with participants pushing their limits in speed and stamina until the decisive moment crowned the champions.
🏆 Mohammed Adel Mayas stood proudly on the podium alongside Yemen’s top university athletes, adding a new achievement to Ar-Rasheed Smart University’s growing legacy—not only in academics but also in sports. 👨🎓 Notably, Ar-Rasheed Smart University entered the championship with three of its outstanding students: Mohammed Adel Mayas (Information Technology), who claimed third place, Malik Radman (Accounting), and Ahmed Sadeq Al-Wasili (General Medicine and Surgery).
