Ar-Rasheed Smart University witnessed an exciting competitive atmosphere on Sunday, February 9, 2025, during the Faculty Billiards Championship, which is part of the activities of the Third Ar-Rasheed Olympics. The university's sports hall hosted three intense matches, showcasing the players' high skills and passionate competition.
The championship aims to develop students' athletic abilities and enhance their competitive spirit, contributing to the creation of a distinguished sports environment within the university.
The results of the first day were as follows:
🎱 First Match: Ahmed Nabil Al-Madani from faculty of Finance and Business (International Business Administration Department – English) achieved a hard-fought victory against his opponent Ahmed Al-Sharjabi with a score of 2–1, in a match characterized by close competition and excitement until the final moments.
🎱 Second Match: Majd Abdullah Al-Hakmi from faculty of Engineering and Technology showcased outstanding performance, achieving a decisive victory over his colleague Abdulrahman Hussein Zabl from the Cybersecurity Department with a score of 2–0, dominating the course of the match.
🎱 Third Match: In a strong face-off, Ismail Al-Sharif succeeded in defeating his opponent Youssef Al-Arashi from faculty of Finance and Business (Accounting Department – Arabic) with a score of 2–1, confirming his superiority and confidently advancing to the next rounds.
