Under the patronage of the rector of Ar-Rasheed Smart University and the keenness of the faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences to link the theoretical aspects of learning with the practical aspects, the fourth-level pharmacy students carried out a field visit to Shiba Pharma pharmaceutical factory on Sunday, December 01, 2024.

During the field visit, accompanied by Dr. Shukria Al-Raimi and under the supervision of the Head of the Pharmacy Department, Dr. Salah Wajeeh Addeen, the students were introduced to the factory's departments, including: (Tablet Production Department, Laboratory Department, Capsule Production Department). The students also received a detailed explanation from the factory's specialists about the drug manufacturing processes in each department and the nature of the tests and analyses carried out in the laboratory.

At the end of the visit, which was warmly received, the supervisors of the visit and the students expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the administration and staff of the Shiba Pharma pharmaceutical factory for the valuable information provided to serve the educational process, wishing them further success in their duties.
