As part of Ar-Rasheed Smart University's efforts to link theoretical and practical aspects and to prepare qualified cadres for the labor market, faculty of Business and Finance - Department of Accounting - conducted a field visit today, for junior Accounting students (English track), to Financial and Economic Sciences Institute which belong to Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, under the supervision of the Head of the Accounting Department Dr. Abdullah Al-Tayyib,, and faculty member Dr. Amin Al-Adhrany.

 The visit, which involved 28 students, was welcomed by the Director General of Training at the Institute

 who introduced them to the institute's goals, activities, and training courses offered

On the other hand, trainer Yousuf Mohammed Al-Qahbari then gave a briefing on the Accounting Financial Management Information System (AFMIS),

the automated system currently applied in the government accounting financial system, explaining its objectives and demonstrating the various system screens and their application in preparing the general budget and the chart of accounts for resources and uses

Following this, a practical application of the system was performed and presented to the students, during which the trainer answered the students' questions.

The students, the Head of the Accounting Department, and the faculty member expressed their gratitude and appreciation

to the Institute’s administration for the warm reception and hospitality.
