On Monday, January 27th, 2025, the Cybersecurity Department of Ar-Rasheed Smart University, in collaboration with "Sahbkum" Cloud Computing Services, conducted an introductory seminar about cloud computing and the services provided by the company. The seminar was aimed at cybersecurity and information technology students on the university campus.

The seminar was inaugurated by the Dean of faculty of Engineering, Associate Professor Dr. Abdulmalik Mo'men, and the Head of the Cybersecurity Department, Associate Professor Dr. Anwar Al-Dhary. The activities were supervised by faculty member Mr. Sameh Al-Jabli.

The seminar aimed to familiarize students with the latest cloud computing technologies and practical applications in the field of cybersecurity, in addition to showcasing the distinguished services provided by "Sahbkum". The seminar included presentations, interactive discussions, and opportunities for students to connect with experts in the field.

In his opening speech, the rector of the university, Professor Dr. Abdullatif Haider, emphasized the importance of such events in enhancing students' practical knowledge and connecting them with the job market. He praised the fruitful cooperation between the university and leading technology companies.

For his part, the Head of the Cybersecurity Department explained that such seminars contribute to the development of students' skills and provide them with a deeper understanding of the uses of cloud computing in cybersecurity and information technology.

This event is part of a series of activities aimed at enabling students to keep up with the latest technologies and innovations in their fields of specialization and enhancing collaboration between universities and the private sector.
