Ar-Rasheed Smart University, as part of its efforts to bridge the gap between university education and the industrial reality in Yemen, held a coordination meeting today between the Department of Mechatronics at the faculty of Engineering and the leading Robot Technology company in Cairo, via Zoom.

The meeting, which was attended by the rector of the university, the dean of faculty of Engineering and Technology, and representatives from the Mechatronics Engineering department and the Robot Technology company, aimed to expand the horizons of cooperation and partnership between the two parties by opening specialized professional courses in the fields of CNC manufacturing, automation, and the Internet of Things to serve the engineers of Ar-Rasheed University and the local professional community.

وأثناء افتتاح اللقاء عبر رئيس الجامعة أ.د. عبداللطيف حيدر عن سعادته بهذا اللقاء، مؤكداً على أهمية توطيد الشراكة والتعاون مع شركات عربية مرموقة لتقديم خدمات تدريبية متميزة  في مجالات الأتمتة والروبوت ومكائن السي أن سي لطلبة الجامعة، مشيراً أن المستقبل في اليمن والخليج يرتكز على الاهتمام بمثل هذه المجالات التقنية التخصصية والتي ستفتح فرص عمل واعدة للشباب في المستقبل.

ومن جهته، استعرض ممثل شركة روبوت تكنولوجي الرائدة م. أحمد أبو الفتوح عبر-برنامج الزوم خبرات الشركة وتجاربها في أكثر من بلد عربي إلى جانب مصر، معبراً عن سعادته بهذا اللقاء كون اليمن بلد بكر وخصبة في المجال التدريبي التقني والمهني.

واختتم اللقاء باتفاق الطرفان على توسيع أفق التعاون المشترك خلال الشهور القادمة في مختلف المجلات وخصوصاً دورات تصنيع الروبوتات الصناعية ومكائن السي أن سي.
