Faculty of Business and Finance at Ar-Rasheed Smart University, in collaboration with Injaz Yemen and the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF), organized a project management training workshop for third-year students of the International Business Administration Department (E), Group One, on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

The workshop, conducted by, Ms. Maha Ghoneim, Project Management Programs Officer at the foundation, aimed to enhance students' understanding of the fundamental concepts and practical tools for successful project management, focusing on the following stages:

• Preparing an effective project plan.

• Time and resource management strategies.

• Techniques for monitoring project progress.

• Handling risks and challenges.

• Project closure and documenting lessons learned.

During the opening of the workshop, the rector of the university, Prof. Dr. Abdullatif Haidar, emphasized that project management is not just a skill to add to your resume but a comprehensive science and art that combines planning, organizing, and executing to achieve desired goals. In today's world, where challenges are increasing, and competition is intensifying, project management is a strategic tool that helps individuals and organizations excel and achieve success

In his speech, the rector of the university said, "You are the future leaders, and you are the ones who will make a difference. Therefore, I want to assure you that project management is not just a responsibility placed on your shoulders but an opportunity for you to prove yourselves and create success stories that future generations will talk about

Always remember that learning does not stop at the university doors. Invest in yourselves, strive to develop your skills, and gain the experiences that will make you global leaders in the field of international business management."

He extended his sincere thanks to Injaz Yemen and the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF) for their efforts and cooperation in implementing the training workshop.

He also thanked the Dean of faculty of Business and Finance and the project management course instructor, Dr. Salah Sanad, for coordinating and implementing the workshop,

wishing everyone continued success and excellence.

The workshop concluded with a thank-you speech from Dr. Salah Sanad, who expressed his appreciation to Injaz Yemen, the participating team, and the attendees.

The workshop included practical examples, real-life scenarios, and interactive activities, which helped students apply theoretical concepts in the workplace
