The Council of deans and head departments held its 17th regular meeting for the academic year 1446 (2024-2025) on Saturday, 25 January 2025,

Within the beginning of the meeting, which attended by Board of Trustees member Prof. Dr. Mansour Al-Abdi, deans of the faculties and heads of departments, the university's Secretary-General, and the head of the central control, Dr. Shaif Al-Hakimi, the rector of the university welcomed all attendees and congratulated the Dean of faculty of Engineering and Technology on the success of their third engineering exhibition. This event was an inspiring celebration of the students' abilities and creativity, reflecting the essence of innovation and the spirit of challenge that the university strives to promote among its students, where ambitious ideas met with innovative projects to showcase promising capabilities that reshape the future of engineering and technology.

The rector of the university affirmed that at our young university, we take pride in everyone's pioneering role in bridging the gap between theoretical and practical education by employing interactive learning as a fundamental teaching method and contributing to the development of creative and critical thinking skills among our students. Additionally, enhancing professional ethics is an integral part of their academic and professional formation. This steadfast commitment is what makes us confident that our graduates are ready to face future challenges with creativity and responsibility.

The meeting discussed a number of topics listed in the agenda which covered for which appropriate decisions were taken.
