On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Ar-Rasheed Language and Skills Center published the recommendations resulting from the World Arabic Language Day event organized by Ar-Rasheed RLSC Ar-Rasheed RLSC under the theme: "The Arabic Language in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" on January 1, 2025, with the participation of a group of specialists and researchers, held on the university campus.
The main recommendations are as follows
🔸️ Issuing a simplified guide on AI applications that serve the Arabic language and widely disseminating it.
Building partnerships between academic and research institutions and the private sector: Encouraging collaboration between universities, research centers, and technology companies to develop innovative solutions for the Arabic language using AI.
Supporting youth initiatives in the field of Arabic language and AI: Providing financial, moral, and technical support to young people with innovative ideas and projects in this field.
Collaborating with specialized companies to offer practical demonstrations on how to use AI to increase efficiency for students and faculty members, as well as assisting students in AI-related departments in presenting projects that serve the Arabic language
Directing scientific research towards the application of AI to the Arabic language and encouraging researchers to conduct studies and research focused on developing AI tools and techniques to serve the Arabic language in various fields.
Providing the necessary linguistic data and resources to train AI models: Working on collecting, organizing, and providing large, high-quality linguistic datasets in Arabic to facilitate the development of AI models
Integrating AI concepts into Arabic language curricula to include basic concepts about AI and its applications in language.
Organizing workshops and training courses for educational staff on using AI in teaching the Arabic language.
Holding regular meetings, seminars, or workshops to discuss developments in the field of AI and its impact on the Arabic language.
