Today, Saturday, Jumada Al-Thani 6, 1446 (December 7, 2024) Ar-Rasheed Smart University received His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem Al-Du'ais, on an inspection visit to the university. He was received by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Faisal Al-Zubeiri, his deputy, Mr. Abdullah Muhammad Al-Wazir, the rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdullatif Haider, Deans of faculties, and the Registrar General.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the rector of the University reviewed the university's journey, mission, achievements, and diverse academic programs, as well as the development the university has achieved in a short period, as it is considered a pioneer in becoming a distinguished addition to higher education in Yemen and the region, and a new tributary that launches from the foundations and standards of quality and academic accreditation. They emphasized the university's constant endeavor to meet the needs of the local and regional market and the human capacities that possess the scientific qualifications to support and serve the community.
His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, began his visit with an inspection tour of the university's facilities, lecture halls, laboratories, dental clinics, and equipped laboratories with the latest devices, equipment, and educational means, praising the extensive development in equipment, devices, laboratory and scientific preparations, and the academic level that Ar-Rasheed University has reached, appreciating the efforts made by the university's leadership to provide all the necessary requirements for the success of the educational process.
He emphasized the university's constant endeavor to meet the needs of the local and regional market and provide it with highly efficient and diverse skilled cadres, noting that this visit comes within the framework of the ministry's interest in monitoring the progress of the educational process in universities, wishing Ar-Rasheed University and its leadership success in providing distinguished educational service and working to elevate the university to be a pioneer among higher education institutions.
For their part, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the rector of the University, and their accompanying delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research for this visit, stressing that the university is always striving to develop and continuously improve the educational process, and is keen to provide all the means that help students achieve success and excellence during their academic journey.
