The football league, part of the Fourth Ar-Rasheed Sports Olympics, captured the spotlight, presenting a vibrant athletic display that embodied the spirit of determination and ambition among the university’s students.

As part of the group stage, the Student Activities Administration, in collaboration with the University Student Forum, organized the second day of the football championship, coinciding with Martyr's Week 1447 AH. This took place at the Azal Sports Club pitch, hosting intense competitions among 12 sports teams in an atmosphere where high individual skills blended with smart tactics, creating thrilling moments that held breaths until the final whistle.

The matches resulted in the following outcomes:
⚽️ Artificial Intelligence Department L1 achieved a resounding victory over Mechatronics Department L3 with a score of seven goals to none.

⚽️ Graphics and Multimedia Department L3-4 managed to win against Accounting Department L4 with two goals unanswered, in a match characterized by competitiveness until the last moments.

⚽️ Information Technology Department L2 triumphed over Cybersecurity Department L1-GB with a score of (8 – 2) in a goal-laden match.

⚽️ International Business Department L3-4 secured a sweeping victory over Architecture Department L1 with eight goals to none, reflecting tactical superiority and impressive offensive capability.

⚽️ Mechatronics Department L2 defeated Cybersecurity Department L2 with a score of three goals to one in a match marked by sustained offensive pushes.

⚽️ In the most thrilling match, Pharmacy Team L1 outperformed Information Technology Team L1 with a score of (7 – 6), in a contest that heated up until the final seconds.

The championship features the participation of 30 teams from various scientific departments and academic levels, comprising 243 players. These competitions represent a true rehearsal for instilling sportsmanship, enhancing teamwork, and showcasing both individual and collective talents simultaneously.
