The faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences formerly known as “Faculty of Medical Sciences” was established in the academic year (2021-2022) with 3 programs: Doctor Pharmacy, General Pharmacy, and Medical Laboratories. Due to the University interest in medical education and the faculty mission which requires offering excellent academic programs that provide the market with the required specialists, the Medicine Program was introduced and developed to be in conformity with modern medical education standards. In addition, Medical Laboratories program was re-named to Laboratory Medicine
In order to enhance education quality, the faculty is provided with15 laboratories equipped with modern and advanced equipment and many classrooms with smart screens and modern educational aids
Furthermore, the faculty developed its strategic plan which covers a number of areas and activities that aim to achieve excellence and quality in education to first meet local accreditation standards, and international standards at a later stage.

Faculty admission requirements
- Have general secondary school certificate or an equivalent with the specified average grade by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- Adhere to registration policies and admission requirements.
- Provide required documents including registration form, original copy of the secondary school certificate, transcript, copy of the ID card or passport for non- Yemeni students, as well as 10 photos.
- Adhere to admission rules set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
