Ar-Rasheed Smart University, in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Science, Technology and Innovation, organized an introductory seminar on the research roadmap of the Republic of Yemen and its electronic platform on the university campus today, Saturday.

The seminar was attended by the rector and the deans of faculties and heads of departments, as well as the Deputy Minister for Research Sector Dr. Nasser Al-Maafia, and engineers Wael Al-Shami and Abdulrahman Al-Sundi from the Council and it discussed many topics related to the importance of the research roadmap and commending the efforts of the Council that worked to improve scientific research to achieve the desired goals of future scientific research according to sectors, specializations and levels of importance.

وأشار رئيس الجامعة أن المعرفة بالمشاكل والأولويات الوطنية في القطاعات المختلفة، والوعي بأهمية البحث العلمي والتكنولوجيا والابتكار خطوة تستحق الاحترام والتقدير، مثمناً جهود الهيئة التي عملت على تجويد البحث العلمي ليحقق الأهداف المنشودة للبحوث العلمية المستقبلية بحسب القطاعات والتخصصات والمستويات ذات الأهمية.

ومن جهته، قدم كيل الهيئة لقطاع البحوث في الهيئة د. ناصر المعافا في نبذة تعريفية عن الخارطة البحثية للجمهورية اليمنية وقطاعاتها وأجزاءها المختلفة.

كما استعرض مراحل العمل التي تمت لإنجاز الخارطة، مؤكداً على أهمية تعزيز الشراكة بين الجامعات والمؤسسات الاقتصادية والخدمية للنهوض بالبحث العلمي.

Subsequently, engineers Wael Al-Shami and Abdulrahman Al-Sundi presented a presentation on the electronic platform of the research roadmap of the Republic of Yemen and the steps for registration in it.

At the end of the seminar, a discussion was opened and comments were received from the participants.
