As part of its continuous pursuit of academic excellence and ensuring the quality of the educational process, The Council of Deans and Heads of Departments at Ar-Rasheed Smart University held their twenty-first meeting today, Saturday, 22nd February 2025, under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, the rector of the university, to discuss updates on the educational process and follow up on the second semester exams.

The rector of the university opened the meeting by expressing gratitude and appreciation to the deans and heads of department for their efforts in providing a quality education that meets students' aspirations and labor market demands. He emphasized the importance of enhancing academic quality standards to ensure the graduation of competencies capable of effectively contributing to community development and the labor market.

The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Mansour Al-Abdi, a member of the Board of Trustees, the deans of faculties, and heads of department, in addition to Mr. Khalid Ali Al-Khadher, the university secretary-general, and Dr. Shaif Al-Hakimi, head of the central control.

The attendees discussed several key topics, most notably the progress of the second-semester exams and mechanisms for improving academic and administrative performance. The meeting concluded with a number of recommendations aimed at enhancing the quality of education and achieving an integrated educational environment that supports students both academically and professionally.

This meeting is part of Ar-Rasheed Smart University’s efforts to establish itself as a leading educational institution that contributes to preparing distinguished graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to compete in the local and international labor market.
