Eight pioneering graduation projects by graphic and multimedia students at Aق-Rasheed Smart University transform art into a message and content into a tool for social change.

In a scene overflowing with creativity and intellectual exploration that merges technology with purpose, Ar-Rasheed Smart University continues to open doors of excellence for its students. Over two days, Sunday and Monday, May 11–12, 2025, faculty of Engineering and Technology—Department of Graphics and Multimedia—hosted discussions on eight pioneering graduation projects. These projects embodied a unique blend of digital innovation and human depth, reflecting a profound awareness of design as a tool for influence and change.

The discussion sessions took place in a celebratory atmosphere filled with pride, attended by distinguished academics, including the Dean of the faculty, Prof. Dr. Abdulmalik Mo’men, alongside the judging panel consisting of: Dr. Muneer Al-Hamiri (Internal Examiner), Dr. Jawad Al-Hammadi (External Examiner), and Mr. Yasser Al-Khateeb (Internal Examiner), accompanied by project supervisors: Engineer Majed Al-Salwi, Mr. Nasser Babreek, Ms. Abrar Al-Qadhi, Ms. Nuran Al-Siyani, and Mr. Yasser Al-Khateeb.

The projects discussed were as follows:

• “Educational Animated Awareness Using 2D Technology”

A visually engaging educational message presented in an artistic style that speaks to social awareness

• “The Origin of Grapes – Commercial Advertising Campaign”

A promotional project showcasing the student’s ability to build a professional visual identity for a local product with a creative touch.

• “Bani Project”

Mohammed Al-Sayaghi, Jaafar Al-Aidaroos, Mariam Amer, Abdulkarim Al-Jooda

A comprehensive project reflecting teamwork skills in graphic design and visual communication.

• “Effects of Drugs – Awareness Film”

Ahmed Sabaha, Haitham Al-Sharif, Majd Al-Salafi, Ilaf Al-Banna, Aya Othman

A short film with a bold approach addressing youth issues, demonstrating design as a tool for awareness and rescue.

• “Cosmetics Company”

A project highlighting the visual identity of a fictional company with a professional feminine artistic touch.

• “Space Game”

Amina Al-Harazi, Aya Al-Jabli

An interactive creative work showcasing digital game design capabilities with attractive graphics and an engaging storyline

• “Drop by Drop”

Amal Al-Sanawi, Wafa Al-Dubai

A project presenting visual content in a satirical and critical style addressing daily issues in an innovative artistic format

• “Marginalized Creativity”

Basma Al-Jabari, Inas Darham

A humanitarian visual work highlighting forgotten talents, delivering a noble message through artistic tools

These projects were more than just graduation requirements; they were intellectual streams expressing students’ awareness of their role as content creators and message-driven designers, blending art, purpose, and technology.

At the conclusion of this artistic and intellectual event, Ar-Rasheed Smart University reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing and empowering creative minds. Graduation projects here are not the end of a journey but the beginning of one, sending a clear message:
