In an era where challenges turn into opportunities due to the vision and determination of young minds, Ar-Rasheed Smart University continues to empower its students to become leaders in the fields of business and change. In this context, the International Business Administration Department (English program) held a discussion on Thursday, May 15, 2025, presenting distinguished graduation research titled: "Business Incubators in Yemen: Challenges and Opportunities in Supporting Entrepreneurship," as part of the requirements for obtaining a bachelor's degree for the academic year 1446 (2024–2025). (2024–2025م).
The discussion session was attended by a distinguished group of university leaders, including the the rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar; Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Saif Salam Al-Hakimi; Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulmalek Mou'men; Head of the Business Administration Department, Dr. Jamal Al-Duais; and Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Abdullah Al-Tayyib, along with a number of faculty members and students.
The students Aya Al-Harazi, Doaa Al-Sadiq, Walaa Jahhaf, and Ghadeer Al-Shahedhi delivered a highly professional and analytically rich research presentation. They discussed the current state of business incubators in Yemen, the structural and economic challenges they face, as well as promising opportunities to enhance the entrepreneurial environment in light of ongoing technological and economic transformations.
The discussion committee, consisting of Dr. Salah Sand (Internal Examiner), Dr. Osama Al-Maamari (External Examiner), and Dr. Yasser Al-Zamani (Research Supervisor), praised the research's academic quality and creative content. They emphasized that the project reflects academic maturity and a promising developmental vision, marking a strong start for the students toward influential careers in entrepreneurship and economic development.
As Ar-Rasheed Smart University celebrates this group of students, it reaffirms its commitment to nurturing young talents and preparing leaders capable of driving change and shaping the future.
