Ar-Rasheed Smart University Embraces Entrepreneurial Aspirations in an Inspiring Workshop on Innovation and Entrepreneurship

In a world rapidly shifting toward transformation, where the new economy is shaped by creativity and initiative, Ar-Rasheed Smart University hosted the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" workshop on Saturday, May 25, 2025, via Zoom. The event served as a source of inspiration and motivation for students aspiring to become future innovators and change-makers.

The workshop was organized by the Entrepreneurship Forum at the university, in partnership with Hayel Saeed Anam Group, as part of the second phase of the "Social Innovation Lab." The event was attended by the rector of the University Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, Dean of Student Affairs Professor Dr. Saif Salam Al-Hakimi, and Dean of Faculty of Finance and Business Professor Dr. Abdulkhaleq Tawwaf, alongside a number of students interested in entrepreneurship and social innovation.

The workshop had a clear vision: Every ambitious idea, when placed in the right environment, has the potential to become a real project that transforms lives and makes a difference.

The introductory session on Zoom featured an interactive presentation outlining the lab’s objectives, available opportunities for participants, and a roadmap for turning ideas into sustainable entrepreneurial projects. Speakers emphasized the importance of embracing a culture of innovation in university education and linking it to societal needs and the job market.
