Ar-Rasheed Smart University was established in the academic year 2021-2022 to provide a unique educational model based on quality assurance and excellence. What distinguishes our university from other universities is that it offers high-quality and world-class education services at affordable fees. These education services are designed to meet the labor market needs in order to provide the community with highly-skilled graduates, who are able to use modern technologies and equipped with the latest knowledge in their various majors.

Since its establishment, the University has had its high priorities to establish a modern up- to-date infrastructure of buildings, laboratories, high-tech classrooms, and unique service facilities that are in line with the growing importance of digital technologies in the current era and the State’s interest towards spreading its culture. The university is therefore striving to maximize the utilization of its technological and scientific capabilities as well as its distinctive digital infrastructure in order to continuously improve its performance.

Today, the university is proud to have four faculties, including Medicine and Health Sciences, Dentistry, Engineering and Technology, as well as Business and Finance. These faculties also subsume a number of academic departments and programs.

Finally, I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to the members of the esteemed Board of Trustees. My thanks also go to the university leadership, represented by Prof. Abdullateef Haidar, the university rector as well as to the academic and administrative staff members. I’m honored to be the Chairman of the Board of this great academic edifice, trying to contribute to the great efforts exerted to keep the university a pioneer in higher education and human development, by implementing the most advanced methods and technologies in the field.
