As part of the efforts to advance physical education, promote national, moral and social values among students, develop their intellectual and physical skills, and discover talents among university students, the sports championship in "table tennis, billiards, and badminton" between students of Yemeni government and private universities and community colleges concluded on Thursday, December 26, 2024, under the cup of the Farthest, and under the slogan "You are not alone". The championship was organized by the Department of Educational Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.

During the championship, which lasted for three days and was participated in by 120 students from 25 government and private universities and community colleges, Ar-Rasheed Smart University was crowned the champion in the table tennis tournament for professionals, represented by the student Ayman Nabil Al-Dhamari, a major in International Business Administration (English). He was awarded the championship cup, a gold medal, and a material prize after defeating the players Bashir Al-Mahaqari from Sana'a University and Hani Al-Razihi from Hajjah University.

It is worth mentioning that the university also participated in the billiards championship, represented by the students Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al-Mutrreb, a major in International Business Administration (English), and Suhail Khaled Abdullah Al-Hashedi, a major in Mechatronics Engineering. The player Abdulrahman Dhaif Allah, a major in Accounting (English), also participated in the amateur table tennis championship, where they all played professionally until they reached the finals.

Congratulations to Captain Ayman Nabil Al-Dhamari on his victory in the professional table tennis championship, and congratulations to all the participating players who were real heroes and stars in the game alongside the players from the government and private universities and community faculties.
