In a move that underscores the synergy between higher education institutions and official bodies—and embodies the national vision for a progressive and impactful university education—Ar-Rasheed Smart University welcomed Dr. Qais Al-Tal, Director General of Guidance at the Capital Municipality, on the morning of Saturday, October 11, 2025. The high-level visit aimed to closely observe the university’s academic operations and review the mechanisms for implementing curricula and academic requirements across its faculties and scientific departments.
Leading the reception was Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, rector of the University, who expressed his warm welcome and described the visit as a pivotal step toward strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and government entities involved in education and guidance.
In his welcoming remarks, the rector stated: "At Ar-Rasheed Smart University, we do not merely construct classrooms—we cultivate an inspiring educational environment that fuses creativity with knowledge and empowers students with the tools of the future. This visit is a recognition of our serious academic efforts, and we firmly believe that human development begins in university halls filled with life and ambition."

Accompanying the rector on the orientation tour were several academic leaders. The visit included inspections of lecture halls, medical laboratories, the virtual pharmacy, phantom labs, and the outpatient clinics of the Faculty of Dentistry, which houses 54 training chairs equipped with the latest clinical training technologies.

Deans and department heads provided detailed briefings on the university’s educational and technological capabilities, highlighting how theoretical knowledge is integrated with practical application in accordance with the highest standards of quality and academic accreditation.
At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Qais Al-Tal expressed his deep admiration for the university’s academic performance, noting that what he witnessed at Ar-Rasheed Smart University was truly heartening.
