Ar-Rasheed Smart University continues to empower talented individuals in the Science and Technology Olympiad… Confident strides towards excellence in computer science, electronics, artificial intelligence, and Arduino.

In an era where scientific and technological advancements accelerate, and the progress of nations is measured by their creative minds, Ar-Rasheed Smart University continues its pioneering mission of nurturing bright intellects and refining promising scientific talents. This is achieved through the ongoing implementation of the training program for winners of the Science and Technology Olympiad for the year 1446 (2025), held in partnership with the General Authority for Science, Research, Technology, and Innovation, as well as the Capital Secretariat’s Education Office.

On this day, Monday, May 12, 2025, the training program continued, organized by the faculty of Engineering and Technology and Languages and Skills Center, targeting 51 outstanding students who secured first and second place in the Science Challenges and Creative Projects tracks. The training covered various topics, including:

• Introduction to Electronics, presented by Dr. Adel Rawah, Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department.

• Introduction to Computer Science, led by Dr. Anwar Al-Shamiri, Head of the Information Technology Department.

• Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, delivered by Dr. Anwar Al-Dhari, Head of the Cybersecurity Department.

• Arduino Basics, supervised by Engineer Mohammed Al-Zagheer.

The program aims to establish a strong knowledge foundation for innovation students, equipping them with essential concepts in electronics, computing, and artificial intelligence, while also providing practical skills to design smart electronic circuits using Arduino and sensors. This initiative prepares them to confidently tackle future scientific and technological challenges
