As part of its efforts to enhance practical experience for its students and prepare them for the job market, the Deanship of Finance and Business faculty at Ar-Rasheed Smart University held an extensive meeting today, Monday, February 24, 2025, with fourth-year students in the International Business Administration (English) program who completed a field training period of over three months in various companies and economic institutions

The meeting was attended by the rector of the university, Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar; the dean of faculty of Finance and Business, Professor Dr. Abdul Khaleq Hadi Tawwaf; and the students’ field training supervisor, Dr. Hussein Al-Sh'ari. Attendees listened to the students share their field experiences, the key skills they acquired, the areas they worked in, the challenges they faced, and how they dealt with them to maximize the benefits of the training.

In his speech, the rector of the university emphasized the university's commitment to providing a comprehensive training experience that enhances students’ practical skills. He noted that field training serves as a real bridge between academic knowledge and practical reality and praised the students’ efforts in adapting to different work environments and leveraging the opportunities available to them in companies and institutions.

For his part, the dean of the faculty stressed that the training program was designed to enable students to understand real-world business environments by working in professional teams and dealing with market challenges. This contributes to developing the trainees’ practical capabilities and encourages them to think creatively.

He clarified that the faculty is committed to providing all forms of support to students during the training period, emphasizing that this stage is a fundamental milestone for gaining practical experience and refining professional skills, thereby raising their readiness to enter the job market with confidence and competence.

At the end of the meeting, the students expressed their gratitude for this training opportunity, praising the academic and advisory support they received. They also presented their suggestions for developing future training programs to enhance the benefits for upcoming generations.
