On the occasion of starting the academic year 1446 (2024-2025), faculty of Engineering and Technology in cooperation with the University Student Forum at Ar-Rasheed Smart University organized a ceremony for welcoming new students, and honored top-performing students for the academic year 2023-2024
The celebration, which was under kind patronage of the rector of the University, was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mr. Faisal Naji Al-Zubayri,
members of the Board of Trustees, Deans of Faculties, a number of academic and administrative staff and students from the college's scientific departments.
It started with the opening of the engineering exhibition, which included displays, projects and models created by students from various programs (Mechatronics Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Interior Design, Graphics, and Multimedia
The new students were welcomed and the rector of the University congratulated the distinguished students on their achievements, affirming that they are role models to be emulated
He also expressed his happiness in welcoming a new batch of students to the various departments of the faculty and emphasized that the university hosts some of the best academics and teaching staff, providing students with a high-quality educational and technological environment that meets the latest standards
The academic and administrative staff of the faculty were honored, as well as the top-performing students (Dean's List) at the three levels.
Dean of Student Affairs affirmed that Al-Rasheed Smart University, despite its recent establishment, has become the first choice for students seeking a prestigious institution that leads them to the future they aspire to
He highlighted that the university offers its educational services with the best teaching staff in Yemen, providing distinguished professors with office hours outside lectures to answer students' questions and solve their problems
The university also applies a credit hour system that suits students' abilities and individual needs, along with providing academic advisors.
The Dean of Student Affairs highlighted in his speech the social, skills, and sports activities, and student services such as forums, clubs, psychological counseling, transportation services for female students, and the electronic portal system through which the student can view all the regulations and systems that concern him during his university studies, wishing all new students’ success and excellence
In his speech, the Dean of faculty of Engineering and Technology expressed his great gratitude to the rector and all university members, and the new students. He also thanked the top achievers – the Dean's List – in all levels and majors of the faculty for their excellence and achievements.
