Under the gracious sponsorship the rector of the University, Professor Dr. Abdullatif Haidar, faculty of Dentistry at Ar-Rasheed Smart University, in cooperation with the Student Activities Administration and the University Student Forum, organized on Saturday, September 14, 2024, the inauguration of the Dental Clinics, the "Future Dentistry Sound" Dental Exhibition, the reception of new students, and the honoring of top-performing students (Dean's List) for the academic year 2023 - 2024. The event was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Wazir, Board of Trustees members Prof. Dr. Mansour Al-Abdi and Mr. Mohammed Abdulsalam Mansour, Dean of faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Mohsen Al-Hamzi, Head of the Department of Oral and Dental Surgery Dr. Bashir Al-Shamiri, faculty member at Ar-Rasheed Smart University Prof. Dr. Abdulwahab Ismail Mohamed Al-Kholani, and the University Secretary-General Mr. Khaled Ali Al-Khadr, as well as a number of parents, academic and administrative staff, and dental students.

During the inauguration, the rector of the University and his accompanying delegation inaugurated the "Future Dentistry Sound" exhibition and toured its corners, as well as officially opened the Dental Clinics.

During the ceremony to welcome new students, the rector of the University emphasized that the university has invested heavily in the specialty of dentistry, the most prominent of which is the opening of dental clinics for fourth-year students.

The rector of the university also stressed that the university will not spare any effort, as all necessary facilities will be provided to operate the clinics in the best possible way, commending the efforts made by the General Secretariat under the leadership of the University Secretary-General, Mr. Khaled Ali Al-Khadr, and the Deanship of faculty of Dentistry through their guidance and instructions to equip the clinics.

The rector of the University reiterated that the administration and the Board of Trustees will not hesitate to finance, prepare and provide the best facilities and faculty members to ensure that our students graduate as active and capable of providing excellent services in the field of dentistry.

For his part, Dean of faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Mohsen Al-Hamzi, expressed his happiness with the momentum in the faculty, which now includes four student batches, reminding the students in the clinics that they should put themselves in the patient's place, as they have moved from the training stage on phantoms and devices to the stage of dealing with humans.

He praised the efforts of the work team in providing an educational environment capable of producing qualified cadres that are keeping pace with the labor market in the field of dentistry, and expressed his great gratitude to the Academic Affairs Officer, Dr. Essam Al-Emad, for his efforts in supervising and preparing the reception ceremony events, wishing everyone continued success and distinction.

The event included several segments related to honoring the top-performing students (Dean's List) of the first, second and third levels for the academic year 2023 - 2024, to encourage them to continue their excellence, and to emphasize that the university, its leadership and everyone in it strive to have their graduates excel, and there is no place for failure.
