Council of Deans and Heads of Department at Ar-Rasheed Smart University Discusses Academic Discipline and Optimization at the Start of the New Academic Year

In an atmosphere filled with ambition and anticipation for an exceptional academic year, the Council of Deans and Heads of Department at Ar-Rasheed Smart University held its first meeting on the morning of Saturday, June 28, 2025 in the university’s meeting hall. The meeting was chaired by Professor Abdullatif Haidar, rector of the University, and attended by deans of faculties, heads of department, and head of the Central Control Office.

During its inaugural session, the council reviewed issues related to academic discipline on the first day of classes and emphasized the importance of academic optimization to enhance the quality of education and improve the university’s outcomes.

At the beginning of the meeting, the rector of the university welcomed the attendees, congratulating them on the advent of the new Hijri year and the start of the first semester of the 1447 (2025–2026) academic year. He expressed his hopes for a vibrant and academically distinguished year and extended his sincere gratitude to all academic and administrative staff for their enthusiastic participation and honorable presence at the graduation ceremony of the “Ar-Rasheed Elite” cohort.

The rector of the university stressed the importance of organizing the educational process from the very first day of classes and adhering to the academic plan to achieve the desired goals.

The council also discussed several agenda items and miscellaneous topics, concluding with a set of decisions and developmental measures aimed at enhancing the university’s performance in the upcoming phase.
