In a moment that embodies excellence and determination for achievement, Ar-Rasheed Smart University celebrated on Saturday, November 15, 2025, the success of one of its prominent academic staff, Dr. Amin Al-Noor, Head of the of General Surgery Department, on the occasion of his obtaining the European Board Certification in Oncology Surgery, after successfully passing the final practical exam held in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The honor was bestowed during a meeting of the university's Academic Council, attended by the rector of the university, Professor Abdul Lateef Haidar, Board of Trustees member Professor Mansour Al-Abdi, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Professor Ikram Al-Aryani, along with all the deans, department heads, the head of the Scientific Research Unit, and the university's Secretary-General.

Professor Abdul Lateef Haidar commended Dr. Amin Al-Noor's outstanding achievement, emphasizing that it reflects the high standards of academic excellence exhibited by the university's staff. He stated, "We take pride in every success our academic team achieves on the international stage, as it mirrors our ongoing commitment to support ambitious researchers and physicians in reaching the highest scientific standards."

For his part, Dr. Amin Al-Noor expressed his gratitude for this recognition, affirming that this achievement would not have been possible without the continuous support from Ar-Rasheed University and his colleagues at the faculty.
