During an inspection visit, Ar-Rasheed Smart University welcomed today, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, a member of the Supreme Political Council, Professor Abdulaziz Bin Habtoor, who reviewed the progress of the educational and research processes at the university and observed the ongoing examinations.

He was received by Professor Abdul Latif Haidar, the university president; Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Wazir, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees; along with several deans of faculties and heads of academic departments.

His field tour included classrooms and modern laboratories across various medical, engineering, and administrative disciplines, in addition to visiting the new building that houses 37 classrooms and three computer labs. He also inspected the dental outpatient clinics, which feature 54 dental chairs dedicated to practical training for students of the Faculty of Dentistry. He praised the advanced facilities provided by the university to enhance the quality of education and practical training.

He also reviewed the university's preparations to launch the Artificial Intelligence and Architectural Engineering programs, emphasizing the importance of expanding programs that meet the needs of the evolving labor market.

During the visit, Professor Bin Habtoor expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the university administration and its faculty in advancing the educational process, calling for continued development to ensure the quality of academic outcomes.

For his part, the rector of the university expressed his gratitude for Professor Bin Habtoor's visit, affirming the university's commitment to enhancing the quality of academic education and developing its educational environment through curriculum updates, the adoption of the latest technologies, and preparing students to meet labor market demands.

At the conclusion of the visit, the rector of the university presented Professor Abdulaziz Bin Habtoor with a copy of his book titled "Arab Universities and the Challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution," as a token of appreciation for his interest in higher education. Professor Bin Habtoor, in turn, commended the academic and research efforts of the university, affirming his support for all initiatives that contribute to the development of university education and enhance the role of academic institutions in the country's progress. He also extended his thanks to the university leadership and staff for their warm reception and efforts in advancing the educational process.
