In a reflection of the role of university education in transforming ideas into practical solutions that serve development sectors, Faculty of Finance and Business discussed today, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, a graduation project titled "Business Plan for the Plastic Cap Project" within the International Business Management program (English program), under the supervision of Dr. Samir Al-Sanab..

The project was prepared by students Amr Khaled Al-Majdoub andAisha Nasser MadihejIt aims to introduce an innovative product serving the construction and building sector by providing plastic caps used in concrete roofs (Hordi), contributing to reducing concrete consumption, improving construction efficiency, and enhancing environmental sustainability.

The project is based on a vision to spread awareness about construction quality and sustainability. Its mission focuses on providing a high-quality imported product at an affordable price, supported by effective inventory management and fast customer service. The project also features a slogan that reflects its developmental mission "Quality Starts from the Cap.".

The project team explained that the "Plastic Cap" idea offers a practical solution for engineers and workers in the construction sector through a product that helps rationalize concrete use and achieve cost savings while maintaining construction quality. The project targets engineers, contracting companies, and construction sector workers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The discussion committee consisted Mr. Ibrahim Al-Nusayri. . andof Dr. Yasser Al-ZamaniThe committee praised the innovative idea of the project and its connection to the requirements of the modern construction market, emphasizing that the project reflects a good understanding of market needs and investment opportunities in products that support sustainability and structural efficiency.

The committee also commended the marketing and administrative aspects included in the business plan, considering the project a promising model for entrepreneurial initiatives that combine economic feasibility with a positive environmental impact.
