Ar-Rasheed Smart University Welcomes the Ministerial Committee for the Evaluation of the New University Building: An Academic Infrastructure Worthy of Future Aspirations
In an ongoing journey of excellence and development, and as part of its continuous expansion in infrastructure and academic programs, Ar-Rasheed Smart University welcomed the ministerial committee on Sunday, May 25, 2025, tasked with evaluating the new university building (Building D). This facility represents a significant advancement in university education, featuring modern equipment, classrooms, and laboratories that meet the expectations of contemporary higher education and serve the needs of students and their academic and community projects
The committee, led by Professor Dr. Samir Mohsen Al-Seri and Professor Fatima Rafiq, was received by the rector of the University Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, Dean of Faculty of Finance and Business Professor Dr. Abdulkhaleq Tawwaf, and University Secretary General Khaled Ali Al-Khadr. They welcomed the committee members, emphasizing that this visit is part of the constructive collaboration between the university and the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research to achieve the highest standards of academic quality and infrastructure.
In his welcoming speech, the university president expressed his delight at this visit, highlighting one of the university’s most significant achievements of the year. He stated: "Ar-Rasheed Smart University does not merely aim to build classrooms but to create a comprehensive educational environment that fosters creativity, enhances the efficiency of education and training, and actively contributes to community service through extensive training and consulting programs."
During the inspection tour, the committee was accompanied by Chairman of the Board of Trustees Faisal Al-Zubairi, the Dean of Faculty of Finance and Business, the University Secretary General, and university service and procurement officials. The visit included 37 classrooms, three computer labs (two dedicated to the Artificial Intelligence Department), and the external dental clinics, which feature 54 training chairs equipped with the latest technology. The committee also reviewed several key centers and units within the university, including the central library, medical and engineering laboratories, the Development and Quality Assurance Center, the Language and Skills Center, the Central Control Unit, and the Financial and Human Resources Administration.
This expansion is part of the university’s vision to establish a comprehensive academic environment that contributes to graduating promising talents and keeping pace with the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the demands of the local and international job market.
At the end of the visit, Ar-Rasheed Smart University expressed its deep appreciation to the ministerial committee members, valuing their efforts in supporting academic institutions and reaffirming its commitment to excellence and innovation in all its educational programs and services.
