In a major step reflecting its unwavering commitment to supporting academic excellence and nurturing a leadership generation equipped with the tools of tomorrow, Ar-Rasheed Smart University awarded today, Sunday, May 17, 2026, three full and partial scholarships to top students from Ar-Rasheed Modern Schools. The announcement followed an outstanding academic competition for these exclusive scholarships, dedicated to graduates of the 2024–2025 academic year. This initiative comes as part of a strategic partnership agreement between the university and the schools, aimed at fostering talent and fueling an environment of creativity and scientific excellence.
Furthermore, the university announced a 10% discount for all Ar-Rasheed Modern Schools graduates wishing to enroll across its diverse programs. This decision underscores the university's dedication to expanding access to high-quality higher education, empowering students to pursue their academic journeys within a modern, advanced learning ecosystem.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Faisal Al-Zubairi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, President of the University; Dr. Ahmed Al-Rubaie, Dean of Student Affairs; Mr. Khaled Ali Al-Khadher, Secretary-General of the University; Mr. Ziad Al-Rafiq, Director of Public Relations; and Mr. Mohammed Al-Qalaisi, Director of the Technical Department at Ar-Rasheed Modern Schools, alongside the scholarship recipients and their parents.
On this occasion, Mr. Faisal Al-Zubairi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, congratulated the winning students and their families on this well-deserved achievement, noting that these scholarships crown their continuous efforts and scientific distinction and stated:
"We are immensely proud today of our students who proved their merit and earned these scholarships," Mr. Al-Zubairi stated. Notably, student Zahra Mahmoud Al-Salhi won the full scholarship, while students Mohammed Ali Al-Naqeeb and Sultan Marwan Al-Shabiani secured partial scholarships, following their outstanding performance during the competitive academic assessment.
