Development and Quality Assurance Center Organizes the 11th Professional Development Workshop Titled: "Employing Generative AI in Preparing Lectures and Presentations"

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, the rector of of Ar-Rasheed Smart University, Development and Quality Assurance Center organized the 11th professional development workshop titled: "Employing Generative AI in Preparing Lectures and Presentations" on Monday, January 20, 2025, on the university campus.

The workshop, presented by Engineer Al-Waleed Al-Duais, covered several important topics that open new horizons for excellence and innovation in education. The workshop included a brief explanation of generative AI, which is considered the gateway to the future, and how to use ChatGPT to improve the educational process, making it more interactive and effective. It also discussed innovative tools like Class Marker for automating assessments and tests, saving time and effort, and improving the process of evaluating student assignments more accurately and easily through ChatGPT. This workshop was an invitation to creative thinking and an opportunity to explore technological tools that reshape the future of education for the better.

The Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, Prof. Dr. Abdulhamid AShuja', emphasized that organizing workshops is part of the university's efforts to enhance the professional development of faculty members. These efforts are not limited to raising efficiency but aim to bring about comprehensive and sustainable improvement in all aspects of the educational process, ensuring the provision of high-quality education that meets the aspirations of students and society.

The Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Engineer Al-Waleed Al-Duais for his outstanding efforts in presenting the workshop, which enriched the educational process and contributed to enhancing the professional skills of the participants. At the end of the workshop, which was full of generosity and excellence, the rector of the university and the Dean of the Center handed out participation certificates to all participants
