Ar-Rasheed Smart University was established in the academic year (2021-2022) by virtue of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Resolution No. (70) on 1/9/2021. The 1st University year was full of various development, improvement, and students’ activities in all academic programs. It’s now the third year for the University which indicates steady movement towards improving and developing higher education by providing high-quality education, advanced infrastructure, and a stimulating educational environment in order to produce qualified graduates who can serve the community and meet the local and regional market needs.

Though the University is still in its first years of development, it introduced new academic programs, reviewed others, established partnerships with local institutions in various fields, and implemented a variety of curricular and extracurricular activities as well as community activities which enhance its image in the community.
