Ar-Rasheed Smart University Academic Council Reviews New Programs and Strategic Development Plans

Within the framework of its continuous efforts to develop academic programs and anticipate future specializations, the Academic Council (Council of Deans) at Ar-Rasheed Smart University held its 25th regular meeting for the academic year 1447 AH (2025–2026) today, Saturday, April 25, 2026. Chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, the meeting was dedicated to discussing the progress of the educational process, academic accreditation documents, and study plans, as well as reviewing documents for new academic programs that meet the requirements of the local and regional labor market. The meeting was attended by deans of faculties, heads of scientific departments, the Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, the Dean of Student Affairs, the Head of the Scientific Research Unit, and the University Secretary-General. This gathering reflects the spirit of institutional integration adopted by the university in academic decision-making and enhancing the quality of educational outcomes

The field visit aimed to evaluate the Architecture and Artificial Intelligence programs, as part of the Council’s efforts to enhance the quality of higher education and elevate its outcomes to keep pace with future requirements. The visit was conducted under the supervision of the Chairman of the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance, Prof. Dr. Adel Mohammed Al-Matari.
