Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences celebrated World Pharmacists Day, welcomed new students, and honored the top achievers – the Dean's List – for the academic year 2023 – 2024
Under the generous patronage of the rector of the university, Prof. Abdulatif Haidar, faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Al-Rasheed Smart University, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department and the University Student Forum, celebrated World Pharmacists Day on Saturday, October 5, 2024. The event also included welcoming new students and honoring top achievers – the Dean's List – for the academic year 2023 – 2024
During the opening of the celebration, which was attended by the Minister of Health and Environment, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the rector of the university, the Dean of faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
, members of the Board of Trustees, deans of faculties, heads of departments, academic and administrative staff, and students of the faculty inaugurated the Pharmacists' Exhibition
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees and members of the board took the Minister of Health and Environment on an introductory tour of the dental clinics and visited Al-Rasheed University Hospital – under construction – providing detailed explanations of the hospital departments
which made the Minister expressing his happiness with the significant development in the university, wishing the university administration continued success and excellence.
During a ceremony welcoming new students, the rector of the university emphasized the beginning of a new chapter in knowledge and learning, encouraging students to discover their skills, build friendships, and broaden their horizons.
He congratulated top students for their achievements and continuous efforts, affirming that they are role models who have proven that hard work and ambition can achieve the impossible
, urging students to enhance their knowledge and contribute to healthcare innovation
