Steadily Marching Towards a Digital Future: Ar-Rasheed Smart University Launches Electronic Exams for First-Year Students
In a move reflecting a qualitative shift towards digital education and innovation in the university learning environment, Ar-Rasheed Smart University inaugurated today, Saturday, April 12, 2025, the electronic (automated) exams for the second semester of first-year students across all faculties and scientific departments for the academic year 1446 (2024–2025). This marks a transformative step in developing evaluation mechanisms and enhancing the efficiency of the educational process.
This initiative aligns with the university’s commitment to its pioneering vision of fostering a learning environment that keeps pace with technological advancements and contributes to building a generation equipped with both knowledge and skills, capable of navigating the future with confidence and competence.
During the inauguration, the rector of the University Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, accompanied by the Dean of Student Affairs Professor Dr. Saif Salam Al-Hakimi, University Secretary-General Mr. Khaled Ali Al-Khadr, and Head of the Central Control Unit Dr. Shaif Al-Hakimi, conducted an on-site visit to the electronic exam halls and laboratories. They assessed the examination process, organizational efficiency, the technological infrastructure provided, and student compliance with regulations.
The rector of the University emphasized that the introduction of automated exams is part of the university’s vision for comprehensive digital transformation and its commitment to ensuring the quality of education and its outcomes in accordance with modern academic standards. He stressed the importance of this step in improving assessment efficiency, minimizing errors, and enhancing transparency and fairness in grading
He further stated, “We are progressing towards a fully integrated smart university environment that encompasses all elements necessary for excellence and innovation among our students. I urge our students to seize these opportunities and exert their utmost efforts to achieve the highest levels of academic and intellectual success.”
The rector of the University also extended his gratitude and appreciation to all those involved in executing the examination process, particularly the Deanship of Student Affairs, faculty deans, scientific departments, the Central Control Unit, and faculty and administrative members, for their dedicated efforts in creating the ideal examination environment.
