In an era of accelerating technological transformations and unprecedented changes in education, artificial intelligence is no longer an optional choice, but rather a strategic tool for creating more efficient, innovative, and impactful learning.
Driven by its vision to lead digital transformation and build modern learning environments that keep pace with future requirements, the Center for Development and Quality Assurance at Ar-Rasheed Smart University organized a specialized training course titled "Using Artificial Intelligence Tools to Build a Smart Learning Environment." The session targeted department heads and academic staff at the university.
The course, presented by Dr. Ra'ed Al-Dhabhani, Head of the Cybersecurity Department, aimed to enable faculty members to utilize AI tools and techniques in developing the educational process, designing more flexible interactive content, and building learning experiences that meet students' needs while enhancing their creative and innovative capabilities.
During the opening of the course, the Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, Prof. Dr. Abdulhameed AShuja'a, emphasized the importance of keeping pace with the rapid developments in educational technologies. He noted that the university places digital transformation and the development of academic competencies at the top of its priorities, contributing to building a smart educational environment capable of preparing graduates who possess the skills of the future.
Dr. Raed Al-Dhabhani reviewed several important practical pillars, including mechanisms for employing AI tools in preparing educational content, automating assessment processes, and analyzing educational data, in addition to best practices related to information security and data protection in digital environments.
At the conclusion of the course, the participants expressed their appreciation for the scientific and practical content included in the training program, confirming that the acquired knowledge and skills will contribute to developing their academic performance and enhancing the quality of educational outcomes in line with the university's direction toward leadership and innovation.
