Under the esteemed patronage of the rector of Ar-Rasheed Smart University, Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, the Student Activities Administration, in collaboration with the University Students’ Forum, organized nine matches on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Azal Sports Field as part of the Faculty Football League Championship. This event is a key part of the Third Ar-Rasheed Olympiad Cup for Sports.

Within In this context, the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Saif Salam Al-Hakimi, expressed his delight at the exceptional level displayed by the teams on the first day of the championship. He emphasized that such activities enhance team spirit and cooperation among students, while refining their athletic and social skills.

Professor Al-Hakimi congratulated the winning teams, highlighting that the championship is an opportunity to develop students' skills, promote a competitive spirit, and discover outstanding athletic talents within the university.

The first day of the tournament witnessed remarkable performances, with the following results:

⚽️ ⚽️ The Interior Design team (Level 1) defeated the International Business Administration (English) team (Level 2) with an impressive score of 4–1, showcasing dominance and outstanding performance by the Interior Design team.

⚽️ ⚽️ The match between the IT team (Level 1) and the English Accounting team (Level 2) ended in a thrilling 2–2 draw, marked by competitiveness.

⚽️ ⚽️ The Mechatronics team (Level 1) triumphed over the Pharmacy team (Level 2) with a narrow 1–0 victory, showcasing a strong performance.

⚽️ ⚽️ The Graphics team (Level 1) won against the Mechatronics team (Level 3) with a solid 3–0 score.

⚽️ ⚽️ The IT team (Level 3) secured a significant 3–0 victory over the Cybersecurity team (Level 3 – G2).

⚽️ ⚽️ The Business Administration team (Level 1) earned a well-deserved 3–0 victory against the Dentistry team (Level 2), confidently advancing forward.

⚽️ ⚽️ In a spirited match, the Human Medicine team (Levels 2 and 3) achieved a hard-fought 4–3 win over the Mechatronics team (Level 2) in a thrilling and competitive game.

⚽️ ⚽️ The International Business Administration team (Level 1) achieved a 3–0 victory over the Dentistry team (Level 2).

⚽️ ⚽️ The Pharmacy team (Level 1) earned a well-deserved 3–0 win against the Cybersecurity team (Level 3 – G1).

With these results, the winning teams have taken a significant step toward advancing in the group stage, while other teams still have opportunities to enhance their chances in the upcoming matches.

The Student Activities Administration congratulated the winners and praised the fair play spirit demonstrated during the matches. They encouraged the losing teams to continue striving for excellent results in the upcoming group stage matches.

The championship has seen extensive participation from university students, reflecting the university's commitment to fostering sportsmanship and competitiveness while providing a healthy and motivating environment for engaging in sports activities.
