In this spirit, faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, in collaboration with the University Student Forum, organized a specialized awareness lecture on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Somaya Al-Areeqi, a specialist in healthcare quality and patient safety at the Royal faculty of Surgeons in Ireland. The event took place on campus and was attended by Dr. Salah Wajih Al-Din, Head of Pharmacy Department, and Dr. Fayrouz Atroosh, Head of the Laboratory Medicine Department.

In the realm of hands-on experience, where theoretical knowledge meets the depth of practical reality—and in alignment with Ar-Rasheed Smart University’s vision to prepare well-rounded medical professionals equipped with solid skills and real-world expertise—fourth-year Medical Laboratory students conducted a field visit on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, to the National Blood Transfusion and Research Center, under the supervision of faculty member Dr. Mutahar Abu Hadi. This field visit offered students a direct opportunity to explore the center’s departments, beginning with reception and blood donation, followed by the Infectious Diseases Testing Unit, Blood Separation and Component Analysis, Immunohematology (Serology), and concluding with the Blood Storage and Component Preservation Unit. The visit provided students with a comprehensive understanding of how these departments contribute to strengthening the healthcare system and saving lives.

The visit was led by Professor Dr. Adel Al-Matari, President of the Academic Accreditation Council, and took place alongside a technical support workshop focused on preparing self-evaluation studies for seven academic programs seeking accreditation. In the spirit of leadership and knowledge—where classrooms transform into bridges between theory and practice, and learning becomes a driving force in the real world—third-year students of the International Business Administration (English Track) at Ar-Rasheed Smart University took an inspiring practical step by organizing a field visit to YemenSoft Company on Sunday, as part of their coursework in Information Systems Management. The visit was supervised by Dr. Jamal Al-Da’is, Head of the International Business Administration Department, Dr. Hussein Ahmed Al-Shaari, Assistant Professor of the course, and Ms. Ghida Hamid, the academic coordinator. This visit embodied the university’s philosophy of experiential learning, offering students a unique opportunity to observe how information systems operate within a business environment and to understand their vital role in enhancing organizational performance and improving corporate management efficiency.

🏊‍♂️ جامعة الرشيد الذكية تنفذ بطولة الرشيد الثانية للسباحة وتتوج الفائزين بالمراكز الثلاثة الأولى في أجواء مفعمة بالحماس وروح التحدي والإصرار، وبرعاية كريمة من رئيس الجامعة الأستاذ الدكتور عبداللطيف حيدر، نظمت إدارة الأنشطة الطلابية بعمادة شؤون الطلبة، وبالتعاون مع ملتقى الطالب الجامعي، اليوم الأحد الموافق 14 سبتمبر 2025م، بطولة الرشيد الثانية للسباحة، وذلك في نادي سام الترفيهي. أقيمت البطولة هذا العام وفاءً وتخليدًا لذكرى الطالب واللاعب المرحوم عمر عرفات العريقي، أحد الفائزين بالبطولة الأولى للسباحة، ليبقى حاضرًا في ذاكرة زملائه بإنجازاته وروحه الرياضية النبيلة. شهدت البطولة منافسة قوية في سباق السباحة الحرة لمسافة 50 مترًا، حيث تألق الطالب محمد عادل مياس (تخصص تقنية معلومات) منتزعًا المركز الأول عن جدارة، فيما أبدع الطالب مالك ردمان (تخصص محاسبة) ليحصد المركز الثاني بجدارة، أما المركز الثالث فقد خطفه الطالب أحمد صادق الواصلي (تخصص طب وجراحة عامة) بعد أداء متميز، ليُسجَّل اسم الثلاثة الفائزين في لوحة الشرف والإنجاز الرياضي بجامعة الرشيد الذكية. شهدت فعالية التتويج حضور الأستاذ الدكتور عبدالخالق هادي طواف – عميد كلية المال والأعمال، والأستاذ خالد علي الخضر – أمين عام الجامعة، وفريق الأنشطة الطلابية، وعدد من الطلاب المشاركين بالبطولة. وفي كلمته، عبّر الأستاذ الدكتور سيف سلام الحكيمي – عميد شؤون الطلبة – عن فخره واعتزازه بروح التفاعل والمشاركة المشرّفة التي أظهرها الطلاب في البطولة، مؤكدًا أن جامعة الرشيد الذكية ستظل حاضنة للأنشطة الرياضية والثقافية التي تُنمّي شخصية الطالب وتصقل قدراته. وأضاف عميد شؤون الطلبة قائلاً: “إن الرياضة ليست مجرد سباق أو منافسة بدنية، بل هي مدرسة للقيم والالتزام والانضباط والعمل بروح الفريق. وما شهدناه اليوم في بطولة الرشيد الثانية للسباحة يترجم حقيقة أن طلبتنا يجمعون بين التميز الأكاديمي والعطاء الرياضي، ليصنعوا صورة مشرقة للجامعة ولأنفسهم. فالطالب الناجح هو الذي يبني تفوقه بعقله وعلمه، ويقويه بروحٍ متزنةٍ وجسدٍ معافى، وهذا هو جوهر رسالتنا في جامعة الرشيد الذكية”. وفي ختام البطولة، قام عميد شؤون الطلبة، وعميد كلية المال والأعمال، وأمين عام الجامعة بتكريم الفائزين الثلاثة بمنحهم الميداليات الذهبية والفضية والبرونزية وكؤوس البطولة، وسط أجواء احتفالية وحماسية. بهذا المشهد، تؤكد جامعة الرشيد الذكية أن الرياضة جزء أصيل من رسالتها الأكاديمية والتربوية، وأن كل إنجاز طلابي – سواء في قاعة المحاضرات أو في ساحة المنافسة – هو لبنة تضاف إلى بناء جيل واثق بنفسه، قادر على مواجهة المستقبل بعزيمة وإرادة.
