In an atmosphere filled with faith and spirituality, infused with love and devotion to the Messenger of Humanity, Ar-Rasheed Smart University held a solemn oratorical event on Monday morning, September 1, 2025, to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) (Al-Mawlid Al-Nabawi Al-Sharif). The event was organized in collaboration with the University Student Forum and took place within the university campus. The event was graced by distinguished attendees, including the Chairman of the University Board of Trustees, Mr. Faisal Al-Zubairi; Vice Chairman Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Wazeer; the rector of the university and Board Member Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar; Dean of Student Affairs Mr. Saif Salam Al-Hakimi; Board Member and Council Rapporteur Eng. Nabil Al-Madani; and University Secretary-General Mr. Khaled Ali Al-Khader. Also in attendance were Mr. Abu Hassan Al-Mutaa and Mr. Zaidan Al-Ashwal, representing the cultural committees of the Al-Sabeen District, along with Dr. Abdulbaset Al-Shae’i, Secretary-General of the University Student Forum, as well as a gathering of academic and administrative staff and university students.

In this spirit, the eighth regular meeting of the Academic Council for the 1447 (2025–2026) academic year was held on the morning of Saturday, August 30, 2025. The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, The rector of the University, and attended by Professor Dr. Mansour Al-Abdi, Member of the Board of Trustees, along with Dean of Student Affairs, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, faculties deans, heads of academic departments, the University Secretary-General, and the Head of the Central Control Office.

In line with its mission to cultivate a qualified generation capable of bridging the gap between theory and practice, and applying academic knowledge in real-world environments, Ar-Rasheed Smart University—represented by the Accounting Program (Level 3 – English)—organized today a distinguished field visit to the Institute of Financial and Economic Sciences under the Ministry of Finance. The visit was supervised by Dr. Abdullah Al-Tayeb, Head of the Accounting Department, and Dr. Amin Al-Adhrani, faculty member at the faculty. The visit, which included 45 male and female students, aimed to empower participants to connect theoretical coursework—particularly the Governmental Accounting course—with practical applications within public sector institutions. This initiative contributes to refining their expertise and broadening their future perspectives.

In a move that underscores Ar-Rasheed Smart University’s status as a pioneering academic institution and an innovative learning environment, the university welcomed an Egyptian engineering delegation on Thursday, August 28, 2025. The visit aimed to explore the university’s advanced infrastructure, including its state-of-the-art laboratories, medical and dental clinics, and engineering facilities. During the visit, the delegation was given a comprehensive tour accompanied by Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Wazir, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Dr. Abdulmalik Moamen, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Dr. Adel Rawaa, Head of the Mechatronics Department; and Mr. Khaled Ali Al-Khader, Secretary-General of the University.

In a pioneering step that reflects its mission to shape a brighter academic future, Ar-Rasheed Smart University signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Academic Cooperation with Jeel Al-Risala Modern Schools on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. The agreement aims to support High-Achieving students, empower them to pursue higher education, and strengthen collaborative ties to advance the educational process in Yemen. The signing ceremony was marked by a distinguished presence of thought and education leaders. Representing Ar-Rasheed Smart University, the agreement was signed by Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, the rector of the university, and on behalf of Jeel Al-Risala Modern Schools, by Mr. Jameel Omar Al-Tayyar, Chairman of the Board. On Tuesday morning, August 26, 2025, the university hosted a dynamic training workshop titled “Self-Motivation and the Pursuit of Success” in the Grand Hall of its campus, organized by the Student Activities Department. The workshop was led by distinguished student and trainer Sarah Al-Saqqaf, a major in International Business Administration (English track), who captivated attendees with her interactive approach. Her engaging delivery ignited enthusiasm among participants, offering them a hands-on experience that boosted their confidence and opened new horizons for achievement.

In this spirit, the seventh regular meeting of the Academic Council for the academic year 1447 (2025–2026) was held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, The rector of the University. In an atmosphere brimming with enthusiasm and creativity, Ar-Rasheed Smart University marked a new chapter in its pioneering journey on Saturday, August 23, 2025, as the Faculty of Finance and Business— in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Forum and the University Student Gathering—organized an exhibition of student entrepreneurial projects. The event featured 32 innovative ventures that embodied students’ aspirations and their vision of transforming ideas into promising opportunities and sustainable businesses. The exhibition witnessed high-level official attendance, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, The rector of the University, alongside Professor Dr. Abdul Khaleq Tawaf, Dean of faculty of Finance and Business, Dr. Jamal Al-Duais, Head of the Business Administration Department, Mr. Khaled Ali Al-Khader, Secretary-General of the University, and Mr. Osama Al-Zomor, Director of Human Resources.

بحضور رئيس الجامعة … كلية المال والأعمال بجامعة الرشيد الذكية تنفذ لقاءً موسعًا لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بجميع أقسامها العلمية في أجواء أكاديمية نابضة بالحوار والمسؤولية، جسّدت جامعة الرشيد الذكية رؤيتها الريادية في ترسيخ الجودة والتميز، حيث نظّمت كلية المال والأعمال صباح اليوم الخميس 21 أغسطس 2025م، لقاءً موسعًا جمع جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس بمختلف الأقسام العلمية، وذلك لمناقشة سبل تطوير طرق التدريس الذكية والوقوف على التحديات التي تواجه العملية التعليمية. انعقد اللقاء في قاعة الاجتماعات برئاسة الجامعة، بحضور رئيس الجامعة الأستاذ الدكتور عبداللطيف حيدر، وعميد كلية المال والأعمال الأستاذ الدكتور عبدالخالق طواف، ورئيس قسم إدارة الأعمال الدكتور جمال الدعيس، ورئيس قسم المحاسبة الدكتور عبدالله الطيب، إلى جانب نخبة من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية. وفي مستهل اللقاء، رحّب عميد الكلية بجميع الحاضرين، مؤكدًا أن هيئة التدريس تمثل القلب النابض لمسيرة الكلية، وأن تطوير مهاراتهم وتذليل الصعوبات أمامهم يمثل أولوية قصوى لضمان جودة المخرجات التعليمية. وقد خُصص اللقاء لفتح باب النقاش أمام أعضاء هيئة التدريس لعرض آرائهم ومقترحاتهم، وطرح التحديات التي يواجهونها، وصولًا إلى حلول عملية تسهم في تعزيز بيئة تعليمية مبتكرة وفاعلة. وفي كلمته، أكد رئيس الجامعة الأستاذ الدكتور عبداللطيف حيدر أن عضو هيئة التدريس يمثل “الركيزة المقدسة في صرح الجامعة”، مشددًا على أن مستقبل الجامعة ونجاح رسالتها مرتبط بمدى تمكين أعضاء هيئة التدريس وتوفير البيئة التي تتيح لهم الإبداع والتطوير المستمر. وأضاف: “نحن نؤمن أن الاستثمار الحقيقي هو في عقول أساتذتنا، فهم صانعو الأجيال وحملة مشعل العلم، وما نقدمه لهم من دعم وتقدير هو أقل ما نستطيع أن نجازيه أمام جهودهم التي تصنع الفرق”. ومن جهتهم، عبّر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الكلية عن سعادتهم البالغة بهذا اللقاء الذي اتسم بالشفافية والمصارحة، معتبرين حضور البروفيسور رئيس الجامعة تجسيدًا لحرصه العميق على الاستماع لهم والوقوف إلى جانبهم، بما يعكس روح الشراكة الحقيقية بين قيادة الجامعة وكوادرها الأكاديمية. بهذا اللقاء المثمر، أكدت كلية المال والأعمال التزامها المستمر بتعزيز مكانة عضو هيئة التدريس وتقدير دوره، بما ينعكس إيجابًا على الطلبة ومسيرة الجامعة العلمية والبحثية.
