As part of its commitment to providing an integrated learning environment that places the student at the center of the educational process, Ar-Rasheed Smart University continues to monitor academic and student performance continuously, contributing to enhancing the quality of education and achieving excellence in its outcomes.
The Academic Council (Council of Deans) at Ar-Rasheed Smart University held today, Saturday, June 13, 2026, its 27th regular meeting for the academic year 2025–2026. Chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, the meeting was dedicated to discussing the progress of the educational, academic, and student processes, and monitoring performance levels across various faculties and academic departments.
The meeting witnessed an active attendance from the university leadership, represented by Board of Trustees Member Prof. Dr. Mansour Al-Abdi, the Dean of Student Affairs, faculty deans, academic department heads, and the Head of the Scientific Research Unit.
At the beginning of the meeting, the University President welcomed the attendees, emphasizing that integration between various academic and administrative units represents the foundation of success and the advancement of the educational process.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar pointed out that the university continues to develop its academic and student performance to ensure providing a stimulating educational environment that contributes to building the student's personality and refining their skills.
"Choosing "Our goal is to graduate scientifically and professionally qualified professionals who possess the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to excel in the job market, and to contribute effectively to community service and development," he said. "This is what we work for across all our academic programs and plans."
During the session, the Council evaluated several key pillars related to university progress and performance development
The Council took a series of decisions and recommendations aimed at enhancing the quality of the educational process, improving student services, and raising the efficiency of academic and administrative performance, in line with the university's vision and mission to achieve academic excellence and build high-quality educational outcomes.
