In a significant step towards empowering students to face the challenges of the job market, the Language and Skills Center at Ar-Rasheed Smart University, in collaboration with the Ahlamona Development Foundation, conducted a free training program titled "Preparation for the Job Market" on Saturday, November 22, 2025, on the university campus.
The program aims to enhance students' skills and prepare them for integration into the job market by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and experiences to meet modern employment requirements.
Professor Abdulhameed AShuja'a, Dean of the Language and Skills Center, confirmed that this program is being held for the second consecutive year and is considered one of the pioneering initiatives aimed at empowering students on the brink of graduation to confidently and effectively launch into their professional futures.
He added that the program focuses on providing students with essential skills for job searching, crafting distinguished resumes, successfully navigating personal interviews, enhancing their effective communication abilities, and achieving their professional goals and future aspirations. He wished all trainees that this program would serve as a starting point for a bright future filled with success and accomplishments.
For his part, trainer Fouad Mus'ad from Ahlamona Development Foundation provided an overview on the first day about work culture, key personal skills, and a series of steps to securing a job. He explained that the upcoming training days will cover personality types, the art of resume writing, and practical and interactive skills for succeeding in personal interviews.
This program is part of the efforts of Ar-Rasheed Smart University and the Language and Skills Center to equip students with the necessary skills for the job market, embodying the university's slogan: "This is where your future is made."
