In a strategic move solidifying its position as a leader in applied education, Ar-Rasheed Smart University and Deep Safer signed a collaboration agreement on Thursday, November 20, 2025, aimed at developing student competencies in cybersecurity and information technology, while enhancing their readiness for the future job market.
The signing ceremony took place on campus, with Professor Abdul Lateef Haidar, the rector of Ar-Rasheed University, representing the university and Mr. Khaled Walid Kazem, CEO of Deep Safer, representing the company.
The convention aims to launch a dynamic partnership that creates a real impact by developing national capacities in security and technology fields, exchanging expertise and knowledge, promoting scientific research, and directly linking education to labor market needs through training programs and joint projects. This initiative seeks to produce a creative and qualified generation capable of facing future challenges with confidence and competence.
During the signing, the rector expressed his happiness with this pioneering partnership, emphasizing that it is a strategic step to enhance applied training programs for students, develop scientific research, and provide specialized consulting services. He underscored its role in bridging education directly to the job market and in qualifying individuals capable of innovation and creativity.
The ceremony was attended by several university and company officials, including Dr. Abdul Malik Moamen, Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Anwar Al-Dhari, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department, Mr. Khalid Ali Al-Khidr, Secretary-General of the university, Engineer Muhammad Al-Wajih, Director of Information Technology, and Mr. Firas Abu Ras, Field Training Supervisor.
Both parties expressed their hopes that this convention will mark the beginning of a fruitful and long-lasting partnership that enhances the cybersecurity sector and positions Ar-Rasheed Smart University at the forefront of educational and technical development institutions in the region.
