The workshop, organized by the Higher Education Sector of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, was held under the framework of the hybrid integrated education system. The session focused on dissecting the heart and lungs of animal specimens and comparing them to human anatomy, under the supervision of Dr. Salim Al-Riyashi and Dr. Ali Haidrah, as part of the “Human Body Anatomy” course. The training aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the vital anatomical structure of the heart and lungs, while deepening their grasp of the anatomical and physiological differences between humans and animals. This approach strengthens students’ analytical and comprehension skills and prepares them for real-world medical practice.

The exams encompass all faculties and academic departments for second-, third-, fourth-, and fifth-year students. Today, the department presented a distinguished graduation project titled “Masar for E-Learning”, an innovative applied model designed to redefine the university learning experience by integrating in-person and remote education. The project was part of the academic requirements for earning a bachelor’s degree in the 1447 AH (2025–2026) academic year, and was held on campus The student team—Ahmed Anwar Al-Akhaly, Aseel Abdulkarim Al-Fadhli, Badr Basim Al-Zakari, Hashid Mohammed Al-Jaradi, and Mohannad Abduh Sarhan—delivered a comprehensive presentation of their smart platform, which facilitates seamless access to academic content, enables electronic submission of assignments and exams, tracks academic progress, and enhances communication between students and faculty

In a landmark step reaffirming its commitment to advancing educational environments, Ar-Rasheed Smart University inaugurated its Virtual Pharmacy on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The launch, held by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences – Department of Pharmacy, coincided with the celebration of World Pharmacists Day. This cutting-edge educational tool harnesses technology to enhance academic training, offering a realistic simulation of operational pharmacies and serving as a practical lab that bridges theoretical knowledge with professional practice. The Virtual Pharmacy aims to empower pharmacy students to perform key pharmacist duties in a simulated environment—including dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions, and guiding patients on safe drug use. It also fosters communication skills, builds trust, and reinforces awareness of the importance of rational drug use.

As part of its commitment to cultivating a conscious academic generation capable of applying the latest scientific methodologies in medical practice, Department of Pharmacy at Ar-Rasheed Smart University, in collaboration with the University Student Forum, organized a scientific lecture titled “Introduction to Evidence-Based Medicine,” delivered by Dr. Sayyida Al-Jumai, PhD in Clinical Pharmacy. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ikram Fadhl Al-Iryani, alongside a distinguished group of faculty members and pharmacy students. The lecture focused on introducing students to the concept of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) and its importance in supporting medical decision-making based on reliable scientific information. It covered key topics such as searching medical databases, identifying credible sources of information, evaluating the validity of scientific studies and research, and linking study findings to daily clinical practice. The session also highlighted the role of clinical pharmacists in promoting optimal, evidence-based treatment.
